Informed Communities Vaccine Initiative

The Informed Communities Vaccine Initiative, developed by CARLDEN Inc. in partnership with trusted community organizations, exists to collaborate across all sectors of the community to share credible, science-based, and non-political vaccine information that helps families and individuals make informed decisions about their health and well-being.

Rather than creating new systems, the initiative focuses on partnering with existing organizations—including healthcare providers, faith-based institutions, schools, community groups, and civic organizations—by equipping them with practical tools, resources, and messaging to effectively communicate with the people they serve and influence. Through these partnerships, the initiative strengthens trusted communication channels, supports informed dialogue, and serves as a reliable resource for communities.

Currently focused in North Carolina, the initiative fosters respectful, evidence-based conversations across homes, houses of faith, schools, and community spaces—addressing confusion, countering misinformation, and building trust. As the need for reliable vaccine information extends beyond state lines, the Informed Communities Vaccines Initiative is intentionally designed to scale and expand to additional states, adapting to local contexts while maintaining a steadfast commitment to scientific integrity, trust, and public health.
